Colin MacKenzie Passing

It is with great sadness that the Toronto Aeros learned of the passing of Colin MacKenzie on Tuesday August the 12th. Colin, better known to most people as the Big Guy was the driving force in our Association for 30 plus years. Colin spent most that time as the owner of the very successful Senior Aeros. Colin was committed to the development of women's hockey and providing the girls with all the tools required so that they could achieve their goals in both hockey and in life. Colin learned his love of the game through his daughter Colleen who also played for the Aeros. The Big Guy had a larger than life attitude and was loved by all the girls. Colin has left a legacy with us that will never be forgotten and always respected. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Anne Marie and the Mackenzie family.

Rest in peace Big Guy. You were the best.
